Go See the Play that Goes Wrong!

The Play That Goes Wrong is a 2012 play by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields of Mischief Theatre Company. It won Best New Comedy at the 2015 Laurence Olivier Awards.


The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society, has received a substantial bequest and is putting on a performance of The Murder at Haversham Manor – a 1920s murder mystery play.


During the performance, a play within a play, a plethora of disasters befall the cast. From missed cues, to misplaced props, to set piece mishaps - everything that could go wrong, goes WRONG!

Throughout all the mayhem, the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society members will soldier on in an attempt to give you the very best performance of The Murder of Haversham Manor that you have ever seen, all the while delivering a hilarious performance of The Play That Goes Wrong!

Not wanting to give away the truly unbelievable ending of this show, we'll just say, "You'll have to come to the show to see what happens!"
