A Look Back At The Amazing Digital Circus (TADC)

What is it?

Tadc is an indie TV show on YT. It follows a cast of characters that are stuck in a circus run by an AI. In each episode, they go on whimsical adventures. However, they are getting a little bored by these adventures and are starting to revolt against Caine (the AI).

Meet the cast

Pomni

Each of these characters has their own role to play in the show, with the main focus being on Jax and Pomni. Kinger was an employee at CNA (the company that created Caine) before he got stuck in the circus, and he’s been there for a few decades now. They all like the adventures at first, but things start to go downhill.

The good times led to the downfall

At first, everything was nice and cheery. But then the characters started complaining to Caine that he didn’t let them do what they wanted. So he started to listen to them but it didn’t change a lot. In episode 7, they started getting info on how to leave the circus. This character named Abel showed up out of nowhere and gave them instructions for leaving. But something seemed off. In the end it turned out this was just a whole adventure made by Caine. That was the last straw for the cast.

In episode 8, the characters wanted to do something to Caine. With the help of Kinger they found out that they can go into Caine’s code and reset him. So while Kinger worked on that, the rest of the cast distracted Caine. Kinger rushed to work on the code, but right when he was about to finish, he accidentally pressed the delete button. At the time, Caine had the characters pressed up against the wall, and then suddenly the characters fell, and Caine said, “Wait!” then suddenly disappeared. Caine has been deleted. The circus lost all of its color and started falling apart. But if the creator has been deleted, why is the circus still standing?...

So what’s next?

Well, there is one episode left. It will be released in theaters on June 5th, with its YT release 2 weeks later. This has left fans divided. The final episode is not going to be in every theater, so some fans are going to have to dodge spoilers. But this is a big step forward for indie productions.
