“I don’t want anything” is a common line most moms use on Mother’s Day, but Trust me, they’re lying. Here are some gift ideas to make any mom smile on their special day!

Flowers

This one is simple, but what mom doesn’t like flowers? You can find a bouquet at almost any store, like Target, Walmart, or Hy-Vee, and they usually cost under $30. They also have flowers in almost every color so that you can pick her favorite! Flowers are a thoughtful yet simple gift that any mom would love, especially when you add a handwritten note to show your love and appreciation for her.

Jewelry

Jewelry, a timeless symbol of love and appreciation, is a gift your mom will cherish for years. It can be a significant investment, but it doesn’t have to be! Many online shops offer affordable yet high-quality options. From mother-daughter necklaces to specially designed Mother’s Day bracelets and necklaces, there's something for every mom.

Homemade Gift

The most precious gifts for your mom are the ones you make with your own hands! A DIY gift, such as a “Use this when…” card, carries a special sentiment. These are where you jot down different chores or acts of kindness your mom would appreciate, and she can use them whenever she pleases. Another heartfelt DIY gift could be a jar filled with folded sticky notes, each one bearing a cherished memory of you two or all the reasons you love her, ready for her to read whenever she wants.

Self-care Basket

Every mom deserves some quality 'me' time, and what better way to make her dream come true than to curate a basket filled with all her favorite self-care items? Some things to put in the basket could be bath salts, her favorite smelling candle, body wash, a cute blanket, lotion, a coffee mug, her favorite snacks, a gift card for a massage, or anything else you think she would enjoy! This thoughtful gift not only shows your understanding of her needs but also encourages her to take a break and indulge in some much-needed relaxation.

Wall Décor

We all know moms and their love for cringy sayings that they love to put all over the house. Well, here's a gift idea for you! There are many wall stickers or paintings for cheap that can express all the love you have for your mom. If you want to be creative, you can even make your own. I know you might hate the idea, but your mom will love it!

Thoughtful Random Gifts

Getting your mom something that revolves around her hobbies or things she enjoys is a thoughtful gift she would love! For example, if your mom runs and you know what running shoes she loves, get her new ones! If your mom loves cooking, get her some new cooking utensils! If you trust yourself enough to know what style of clothes she likes, get her some new clothes! You can choose from many gifts related to her hobbies or things she likes.

Concert Tickets

This one is expensive, but if you have the money, tickets to a concert to see one of her favorite artists would be the best gift she could ask for! I mean, who doesn't love a concert? I would talk to your mom first before you buy the tickets to make sure you’re both on the same page…but I’m sure she would love it!

I hope you found at least one of these gift ideas useful. They will make your mom feel extra special on her Mother’s Day!
