Hudson McKearney

Hudson McKearney is a 5- year old boy who received a police escort to Iowa City on Monday, May 9th, for his final cancer treatment. Hudson wants to be a police officer when he grows up so the police escort was exciting for him. He has battled acute lymphoblastic leukemia since March of 2019. Lymphoblastic leukemia is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. A few of the high school classes came together to show their support and cheer him on as he got his police escort.
