¨It costs nothing to be nice¨ is what Cole Green had to say when I talked to him to prepare for this article. Cole was among the highly suggested seniors in my survey, and I quickly learned why. If you don't know Cole, he is a Senior. Just a few years ahead of his Freshman brother, Zach Green. Cole is #27 on the varsity football team, one of the best on our wrestling team, and even plays soccer. Cole was voted homecoming king along with queen Charlotte Madden. He is described as being one of the hardest-working, kind, and respectful kids to come through our school (more compliments to be seen on our TikTok page, @TheLanceTok) here's what cole had to say about his accomplishments and high school experience…
How Has Your Senior Year Been So Far?
It has been great, but it’s gone really fast

I am honored that so many people recommended me for this. I did not know I made such an impact on people, but I am glad people think so highly of me.
What extracurricular activities or sports have you participated in?
I’ve participated in football, wrestling and soccer
Who has been your favorite teacher/mentor and why?
My favorite teacher would have to be Mr. Nass. I loved the way he taught his class and his personality throughout the semester.
What is one thing you will miss about high school?
I will miss getting to see my friends almost everyday either at school or at extracurricular things
What are your plans after graduation?
To go to UNI and get my bachelors degree and then go to dental school.
One piece of advice you have for incoming freshmen?
To try to do everything you can because you might end up regretting it later
One piece of advice you have for next year's seniors?
To try to be as busy as possible and not miss out on any opportunities you might have to make a memory.
Senior Assassin is under way at North Scott now into the final day of the third round and there's only eight players left from the original ninety! You'll see Peyton Brenner interview past and present
Yay! So glad you’re still writing and taking care of the lance!
